At long last, Rajon Rondo is set to make his return to the court Friday vs. the Lakers. The past few days have provided countless rumors as to his rehab and availability, but we now have that answer.
Rondo suffered this injury nearly a year ago to the date: January 25 of last year.
It will be interesting to see if he starts, how long he’ll play and if he’s favoring his knee any. At the very least, it’s good to have him back out there.
The Celtics broke the news on their Twitter feed:
Danny Ainge announces that barring any setbacks today, Rajon Rondo is expected to play in tomorrow's game against the Lakers.
