The Knicks haven’t gotten off to the start that owner James Dolan had expected. According to reports, he was furious after the Knicks gave up 40 first quarter points to the T’Wolves recently.
His frustration has boiled over to the point where he apparently is tired of the Knicks City Dancers. The world famous Knicks City Dancers? Really? Get this: he thinks they…dance too much and wants their roles reduced.
Perhaps he’ll change his mind if the team is performing to his expectations.
Dolan has become such a hands-on owner — figuratively speaking — that, according to a source, he doesn’t want the dancers dancing. Crazy, right? The same guy who wanted creative input on the dancers’ outfits (and he’s good at it) apparently ordered that the girls’ roles be reduced to mostly throwing T-shirts into the crowd. They performed maybe one routine on Sunday.
