In a pretty quiet move, Under Armour releases the Micro G Torch II(2), followup to the popular on-court performer; Under Armour Torch.
On the Under Armour Torch II, the battle-tested cushioning of UA’s proprietary Micro G foam runs throughout the entire midsole as expected. A new lacing system features two panels that, when tightened, are to have great foot lockdown. An Ortholite sockliner holds tight and keeps feet from sliding around inside of the shoe.
New York Knicks PG Raymond Felton laced up a pair of these back in the sneaker’s early stages when it was still known as the Under Armour Ion. Even then I made the comparison to the Torch and it looks like my inklings were dead on.
