The Bulls’ Joakim Noah has been sidelined for a while now with a foot injury. That means, they’ve been without their best perimeter player (Rose) and best frontcourt player when it matters most. Noah was supposed to be nearing a return, but has suffered a setback.
With the playoffs less than a month away, and Derrick Rose still uncertain, this is no good news for Chicago.
“I’m doing everything — massage, sleep in a splint, ice,’’ Noah said when asked about dealing with plantar fasciitis pain in his right foot. “If you got any remedies you want to give me, I’ll probably do it.’’

According to coach Tom Thibodeau, Noah suffered a setback and there is no timetable for his return.
“Yeah, it’s a tough one,’’ Thibodeau said of the plantar fasciitis injury. “You never really know with that type of injury.
