2013 Jordan Brand Classic Rosters

Following yet another exciting McDonald’s All American Game, where recent University of Arizona commit Aaron Gordon won MVP honors, comes the 12th annual Jordan Brand Classic, held this year at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Jordan Brand moved the event from Charlotte, North Carolina to the new home of the NJ Nets in Brooklyn, which coincidentally was the birthplace of Michael Jordan.

While the annual McDonald’s Game has a longer history, the Jordan Brand Classic truly features the very best high school prospects entering college next year with the inclusion of 5th year seniors.  Eight former Jordan Brand Classic players have gone on to be #1 NBA Draft picks.

Around this time last year, UCLA bound Shabazz Muhammed and NC State guard Rodney Purvis delighted the fans, taking home MVP honors in the 2012 Jordan Brand Classic.

Following in the footsteps of current Jordan athletes and former Jordan Brand Classic alumni Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and recently signed Blake Griffin, the next generation of superstar talent will take the floor in a nationally-televised game live this Saturday, April 13th @ 8PM on ESPN2.

It will be the last time to check out elite prospects like Andrew Wiggins, Julius Randle, and Jabari Parker on the high school level before entering college, plus get a performance by Grammy winning artist Drake following the game.
