Yahoo! Sports has reported on twitter today that Andrew Bynum made his decision to have the season ending surgery on both knees that has been speculated about for weeks.

Brian Windhorst from ESPN about an hour ago confirmed after speaking to Sixers representatives that Bynum indeed will be undergoing the surgery and is done for the season. Before he even got started or even suited up for a game in a Sixers uniform:
