Deron Williams Out Next Two Games Due to Ankle Issues

The Brooklyn Nets have had a very up and down season, but will surely be right there in the mix come playoff time. Last night, they were rolled over by the Spurs in Brooklyn causing some doubt as to how seriously people should take the team.

Deron Williams has been playing through the some pain in his knees and ankles, and will sit out until after the all-star break.

Point guard Deron Williams, a three-time All-Star having his worst season in years, will miss two games because of inflammation in both his ankles. The left ankle, in particular, has limited Williams all season, and he reportedly will consider offseason surgery.
