The Golden State Warriors are winners of 7 of their last 10 games. Who would have thought the team that has struggled in mediocrity (aside from their first round playoff performance against the Mavericks in 2007) would be the talk of the conference. Besides the New York Knicks, they may even be the talk of the league right now given their play has exceeded all expectations. Many questioned the size and strength of backcourt duo Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. But those doubters are becoming believers. The Hoop Doctors included, but we can admit when we are wrong about a team, so we decided to put together a spotlight video on the Warriors to showcase their stellar play this season:
Following the Golden State Warriors’ franchise record road trip of 6-1, the team surpassed 11,000 full season tickets sold for the 2012-13 season, the team announced today. Since the beginning of the road trip on December 5, the team has sold over 700 new full season tickets. Currently, the Warriors are one of only eight teams in the NBA that have achieved over 11,000 full season tickets sold. (via NBA.com)
