For all the analysts who said that the Lakers looked good on paper but would probably lack chemistry this season, many of them are already starting to eat their words. Kobe and Gasol have already started to gel nicely with Steve Nash in practice and in preseason (then again who doesn’t gel instantly with the wizard Steve Nash).
But another under the radar addition to the Lakers who may turn out to be a very key piece to their success both offensively and defensively is the oft overlooked Antawn Jamison. The guy is as solid as they come. And Kobe and Jamison have been sparring back and forth in the Lakers practices so far. Earlier in yesterday’s practice Jamison drew a charge on Kobe, which angered the Mamba. So then Kobe proceeded to do this to Jamison. Kobe says: #welcometothelakers
