During this past 161-day lockout that forced the ’11-’12 NBA season to a 50-game season, footwear companies had to impliment slightly different marketing techniques since basketball games weren’t being played and there was still product to promote.
Nike Basketball ran their Basketball Never Stops campaign where the main focus was on the Nike players like Kevin Durant and James Harden that participated in other summer basketball leagues. In commemoration of that, Nike is releasing a pair of sneakers called the ‘Dusk to Dawn’ pack.
Featuring the ‘Dusk’ Air More Uptempo and ‘Dawn’ Air Max 180, both sneakers help to tell the story behind this pack’s inspiration.
The ‘Dusk’ Air More Uptempo retails for $175 with the ‘Dawn’ Air Force 180 coming in at $140. The ‘Dusk to Dawn’ pack is available now at House of Hoops locations around the country.
