With the Air Jordan VII playing host to some of the most classic Jordan silhouettes, leaving the ‘Raptor’ Jordan VII off of our list of the 6 best OG Jordans releasing in the second half of 2012 as a snub of sorts.
There was a good amount of debate during the last few months on what this sneaker would look like since only the Black/True Red-Dark Charcoal-Club Purple color code was known, but with these official pictures we now know that this release will stay true to the original instead of like the Defining Moments pair from 2009 with the same colors.
Jordan Brand have taken on certain “creature comforts” when it comes down to their release schedule at times. A definite pattern as been formed with the original ‘Raptor’ Jordan VII releasing in 1992 and making its first Retro appearance in 2002. Being a betting man, I would say that this will make its next re-release sometime in 2022.
The Air Jordan VII – ‘Raptor’ hits stores on September 1st for $160.
