In case you hadn’t gotten your fill of Olympic-themed sneakers from Jordan Brand last week with the ‘Olympic’ Jordan VI, July is the month for you. As apart of this two-sneaker set, the Jordan Super.Fly is seen here in Team USA colors with a white Hyperfuse upper, navy mid-sole and lining, and with red branding and gold laces. The Jordan VII is every bit as classic as you remember it even down to the number 9 on the heel which is one of the reasons it made our top 6 OG Air Jordans for the second half of 2012 list. For those who might not be aware, the ‘Olympic’ Jordan VII is what Michael Jordan wore during the ’92 Olympic Games as a member of the heralded Dream Team.
The Olympic 7 will definitely needs no further explanation as it is already one of the most sought after Air Jordans already. Chris Paul laced up the Super.Fly last night in the exhibition game against Brazil which is good to see. I like that the Jordan Super.Fly is getting done is so many colors; it really is a beast of a performance shoe and hopefully with the amount of colorways that are getting released it won’t be overlooked like many non-Retro Jordan Brand sneakers do.
These two pairs drop within days of each other. The Air Jordan VII – ‘Olympic’ keeps the Jordan Retro Saturday tradition alive by releasing on July 21st for $160 while the Jordan Super.Fly – ‘Olympic’ drops the Wednesday after that on July 25th for $140.
