In 1996, Scottie Pippen debuted the Air Pippen while the year earlier in 1995 Chris Webber did the same with the Air Max Sensation.
Both pairs feature the respective player’s jersey number on a ball similar to the ones used in the draft as the insole image. Whether this was planned or maybe I’m just reading too deep into the inspiration but both Chris Webber and Scottie Pippen left the teams that they were drafted to.
No word on if these are the only two sneakers in the pack but I wouldn’t be surprised if images of more pairs made their way online before release. These two pairs will be a House of Hoops exclusive and I expect these to drop sometime before the the draft day at the end of June.
