February 13, 2012 – Ben Berry
We are in a time in sneaker history where sometimes a nickname can help a sneaker sell; enter the ‘Invisibility Cloak’ Zoom Kobe VII.
Depending on the angle that the sneaker is viewed they will appear to be either purple or turquoise the same way a car with a pearlescent paint job does. Reflective 3M branding is used on this pair further adding to the ‘Invisibility Cloak’ nickname. This isn’t a Supreme release so if this hits stores in America expect a $140 price tag.
The ‘Black/Court Purple-TRQS Blue’ Zoom Kobe VII has already been released in parts of Asia and no US release is scheduled yet but there is rumor of a February release. I wonder who out in Beaverton is a Harry Potter fan…
