We can’t think of any event in the history of the NBA that shocked fans, players, and executives like Earvin “Magic” Johnson’s announcement that he had contracted HIV. The events that surrounded the announcement, his retirement/s, his comebacks, the final all-star performance, his work with the Lakers and NBA TV, and his health now 20 years later are what storybooks are made of. So we are very excited to announce that ESPN Films and NBA Entertainment have joined forces to tell that story on March 11th at 9pm EST on ESPN.
