When I first showed you Penny Hardaway’s upcoming signature shoe pack, only images of the first three sneakers from Penny Hardaway’s signature line were included but we knew then that this was a five-shoe pack so now we take a look at the arguably the most popular sneaker Hardaway is known for. Many credit the Foamposite One as one of the greatest signature basketball sneakers ever but those deep in the game know that the Anfernee Hardaway really just introduced the sneaker to the world. The entire Foamposite line is a separate entity of Nike Basketball, lending its technology to multiple sneaker series similar to that practices of the current Lunar series.
The Sole Collector x Nike Sportswear collaboration flips the original fine-garnering Dark Royal Blue colorway that we have seen on this sneaker since 1996 and literally turns it on its head. A vibrant blue colors the shoe in the mesh, eyelet strip, and laces on the top of the shoe. Black is seen around upper since the crease-proof material is fully dressed in black with the shoe still maintaining the traditional translucent bottom we have became accustom to seeing.
