To have a custom pair of Jordans used to mean that you’d have to be a member of Team Jordan or have a very close relationship with someone over at Jordan Brand. The Air Jordan 2011 was only produced in custom colors for people with the last name of Wade and Allen or members of college basketball teams like UNC or Georgetown. Nike looks to make the process just a little easier by bringing the shoe to the Nike iD program. Just like with the Jordan Fly Wade, users of Nike iD will be able to choose their own color blocking and text of the shoe.
Look for the Air Jordan 2011 to become a customizable option on Nike iD August 16, 2011.
