How can you not love Charles Barkley? Seriously. He’s probably the most polarizing and entertaining figure on TV. Chuck’s middle name is “brutal honesty” and for a good portion of the season, he would express his reservations regarding the newly formed Miami Heat. TNT’s coverage of the Eastern Conference Finals is on location and they were at American Airlines Arena Sunday night.
Apparently, Heat fans remember Chuck giving the team a hard time during the year and they decided to return the favor by getting on his case. Check out the video below as they join in an expletive-laden chant in Chuck’s honor. In typical light-hearted Chuck fashion, he flips them a double-bird, much to the delight of the crowd. That’s exactly what they wanted. But let’s not take it out of context. This isn’t at all similar to pleasantries that Joakim Noah exchanged with Heat fans. You can see Chuck laughing afterwards and it appeared to all be in good fun.
