Lebron James has been lighting up the league all season long. He’s also brought the Cavaliers to the very top of the NBA with the best record. But to add to that he also made a promise at All-star Weekend this year that has set the fan boards on fire. He will be entering the 2010 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. For a contest that has seen it’s popularity flounder the last few years with many people calling it too “gimmicky”, Lebron is certainly the man to rejuvenate it’s popularity.
The question many people are asking is, what dunks will Lebron do? Although i’m sure he’s keeping his secrets close to his chest, in warm ups this week Lebron gave the crowd a little teaser of just what he’s capable of. The dunk below off where he puts the ball behind his back, under his leg, then off the backboard takes the speed, power, timing, and co-ordination that only a guard with serious hops could do.
