At 21-8, the Knicks are rolling. A big part of their success this year has been the play of PG Raymond Felton. With his second go-around with NYK, Felton hasn’t disapppointed so far, averaging 16 and 6. But the Knicks will have to continue on without Felton as he will be sidelined 4-5 weeks with a broken pinky on his shooting hand that he suffered on Christmas vs. the Lakers
Raymond Felton knew the injury to his right pinkie finger might be more serious than he originally had hoped, but he still was not fully prepared for the diagnosis he got after a halftime X-ray here Wednesday night.
It revealed a fracture, news that Felton said left him feeling “a lot of things. I was hurt. I was angry. But it happens. It was a freak accident. Can’t be too upset. Just have to do what I’ve got to do and get the treatment so I can get back.”
