Wilt Chamberlain’s House Of Love [Pics]

Wilt Chamberlain was a polarizing figure in professional sports, and stood out not only for his size but also for his over the top personality. In 1991 he claimed he had sex with 20,000 women. For this to be true, he would have had to have had sex with 1.37 women per day from the age of 15 until the date of the claim. Many of you may believe the number is inflated, but certainly it was a hell of a lot more than your average person. So where did he bring these women he slept with? Hundreds if not thousands made their way to the mini-playboy mansion that Wilt Chamberlain had built on a hill…

“Built in 1971, the five-bedroom, 7,158-square-foot contemporary-style house at 15216 Antelo Place in Bel-Air was built by Chamberlain, who lived there until his death in 1999. The house’s unconventional (some might say tacky) features include a gold-lined hot tub, a retractable mirrored ceiling above the master bed, a swimming pool that flows into the living room, walls of glass, 40-foot ceilings, a wrap-around pool, and a balcony suspended over the living room, according to listing information. The house sits on a 2.58-acre parcel that has ocean and city views. {via}”

That has to be one of the ugliest places I have ever seen. Money does not equal taste or class!

    • Thepasc

You are right my friend;” Money does not equal taste or class!”.(even if this house doesnt look bad at all IMO )

but when you watch “The Crib” tv show…some of them are soooo ugly and they look so uncomfortable.

      • Califmud

He may have made renovations. Most of those pictures were from Life Magazine, which has not published for years and…he died in 1999. Back when this house was built it wasn’t half as crazy, cheezy and ugly as it looks to us now.

        • Thepasc

Ohhhhhh,OK!That explain everything! It must be a hell of a house in that case, cuz it already was a very “cozy” and very much my taste. But like I said in my first comment,it was tasteless and the deco was…a little outdated (but you explain that pert).

I wonder if this house still exist? (maybe it was burned down in those damn fire or someone has bought it just for the land,on the hill;a very nice place…fr what we see in these pix!)

Anyway, tnx for the info you were absolutly right.
          Have a good one.

Wonder how many little Wilt (or Wiltina) Chamberlains are out there? What provision, if any, is being made for them?

    • Stray

@sunny36, There probably wasn’t any kids. Women back then actually knew what birth control was… and took it. Then didn’t use lame feminist BS like now. They also didn’t get bullshit million dollar divorce settlements, which lead them to use said birth control, because they knew they were on their own with a kid.

  • Happi

Dang! I LOVE that house! Heck, I’d have slept with him too, just to go there! The “bedroom” is Spectacular! WOW! LOVE IT!
(P.S. – I was dropped at birth, but that doesn’t have any bearing on my taste in architecture and design! I don’t think!)

  • Brenda

How is this possible when the “white man” has been holding the black man down all this time and never allowed him any rights to achieve success? And this was in the 70′s.

    • brenda

@Brenda, maybe they have something to do in private.like having sex

  • eek

Dudes, I’m a regular Joe. I believe the number, considering the place in the worl where he lived and the fact he was a very single man. He could hit that number really easy.
Just saying don’ hate…but then again he died early and maybe it wasn’t from natural causes it could have been A”:_)s

  • Wayne

NO WAY!! IF WILT GOT STARTED AT AGE 13, IT GIVES HIM 50 YEARS WHICH IS A NEW WOMAN EVERY DAY OR 400 PER YEAR WHICH MEANS 35 DAYS EACH YEAR HE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE TWO NEWBIES. SECONDS DON’T COUNT I DOUBT HE DID 10,000 WHICH WOULD BE 200 PER YEAR FOR 50 YEARS.

  • robert

Looks like Wilt could use that stilt.  Appears that an architectural apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright designed the place, though I’m not 100% on that, but it do look like it. In LA the frostin’ is seldom on the pumpkin, but on or off the court Wilt was always slam-dunkin. 20,000 Bitches Under The Dipper. I remember the night Wilt scored 100 points in one game. Think he ever scored one hundred women in one night? The thing I loved most about Wilt Chamberlain was his modesty. :)
