David Spade Teaches Amare How to ‘Flop’

Every year, Amare Stoudemire tries to do something entertaining to help drum up some support in an attempt to get the most votes possible in earning yet another All Star Selection. Last season we saw Amare in some humorous commercials featuring Beyonce, Michael Jordan, and President Obama. We even saw him in a spoof as a dancing Santa Claus.
This season is no different as he revealed on the ESPN’s Jim Rome is Burning Show, that he has set up a new website where you can register and vote for Amare, see his most recent appearances, check out his workouts, and be the first to see all 4 of his hilarious promo videos. The site also links to Amare’s personal blog, “Sun Tzu.” Amare has been a sort of behind the scenes reporter/correspondent for Rome’s show for some time. Stoudemire would undoubtedly be pleased to earn another All Star birth since he looks to be close to getting back into elite form after recovering from offseason eye surgery resulting from a detached retina.
In the video, comedian David Spade of Saturday Night Live fame, is dressed in a Phoenix Suns jersey and is enlisted as the supposed best friend of Amare since the 8th grade. Spade acts as a sort of public relations manager in teaching Stoudemire the finer things about getting All Star votes and how to flop in an NBA game. After watching the video, be sure to follow Amare and vote for him at – Vote4Amare.com
