Not many players in the NBA are better athletes than the Sixers Andre Iguodala. In this clip, he proves he is a monster to defend in the open floor as he takes the ball the full length of the court, switches hands, travels, and throws down the one handed slam in OT, against the NY Knicks on Saturday night. Iggy took it upon himself so that Philadelphia got things off right in the 4 game Philly vs New York weekend(if you include 2 World Series games, Sixers/Knicks, and Eagles/Giants), as he almost single-handedly defeated the Knicks with a near triple-double – 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists. Andre must have felt that he needed to take the game over since his Sixer teammates allowed the Knicks to score 41 4th quarter points to force overtime. Iguodala’s late game heroics helped offset a season high 42 points from the Knicks Al Harrington, as the Sixers prevailed 121-115. As one of the league’s more underrated dunkers, fans in Philly are just itching for Iggy to participate again in the All Star Weekend Dunk Contest. How do you think he would fare?
