After a basketball clinic in Central Jersey last week, NY Knicks guard J.R. Smith did an impromptu interview in the parking lot. Along with rattling off his favorite 5 pairs of Air Jordans, he also touched on subjects like what he thinks about Joe Johnston calling the Brooklyn Nets the best basketball team in New York as well as his brother, Chris Smith, also signing with the Knicks.
Its not a surprise to me that Jordans are J.R. Smith’s favorite pair of sneakers. Just a quick glance at the picture of his sneaker closet below would tell anyone that.
I am surprised at the amount of Jordan XX pairs seen though; there is about two full shelves worth of the 2005 flagship model which hasn’t been given the Retro treatment yet (unless you count the blacked out pair from the Countdown Package series in ’08.
