Last night the Denver Nuggets front line was flying high. Probably none of which was flying as high as Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen however. The guy was doing what he usually does, but just better. He was dunking put backs, getting steals, blocking shots, and he even attempted a three point shot (he missed).
Speaking of his blocks however, there were some big ones, but one particular block in the second quarter on the Lakers Shannon Brown sent a message. Sure the Birdman was up high enough to catch the ball two hands to ensure the Nuggets maintained possession, but given the emotion of the moment Birdman spiked the ball hard off the backboard and sent it almost to half court where the Nuggets luckily regained possession. But i’m not going to nit pick, cause the block was ohhhh soooo sweet. Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen, you are my player of the night. Enjoy the block folks….
