Video: Auburn Commit Shaquille Johnson Posterizes Defender

March 2, 2012 – Allen Moll

Going back over the past few seasons and the high school ranks have turned out some amazing athletes capable of literally jumping out of the gym on dunk attempts like CJ Leslie, Deuce Bello, and Josh Selby.

While Leslie, currently playing at NC State, has been known to jump clear over defenders for a block or dunk, Baylor freshman Bello has already been touted as the best high school dunker ever, and Selby now playing for the Memphis Grizzlies, rising senior Shaquille Johnson may very well hold down the current crown when it comes to who has the best HS hops.

Johnson, a 6’4 and 195lbs University of Auburn commit, has already won a number of HS dunk contests and has been given the name “747“ for his now legendary high flying dunks.

Shaquille has developed a reputation for taking pleasure in posterizing opposing defenders like this insane facial that sent the defender flat on his back under the rim. Just this past Summer, he pulled off an improbable 360 in game windmill that instantly sent fans in attendence into a frenzy.

Johnson plays at the nationally ranked Milton HS in Alpharetta, Georgia and apparently by the video below was up to his old dunking antics in the Georgia State Playoffs by putting another unsuspecting defender on his most recent poster on the alley-oop……
