Whenever the NBA season tips off, folks in the Bay Area have alot to look forward to. The Golden State Warriors have a talented young nucleus and have added a new head coach in Mark Jackson. Although he hasn’t even coached a game yet since leaving the broadcast booth, Jackson’s mouth has written some checks that Warriors faithful hopes the team can cash. He has made the assertion that Monta Ellis is the third best Shooting Guard in the League and has said that his team will make the playoffs this year. Those are some bold words.
One of Jackson’s players, that many are looking to have a breakout, season is Stephen Curry. Steph has been busy this summer. He got married at the tender age of 23, and had ankle surgery as well. Coming off of a 18.6ppg and 5.8apg campaign, he knows that his health is instrumental to his team’s success, so he has been feverishly strengthening his brand new ankle this summer. By the looks of thing, his busy summer hasn’t impacted his stroke one bit. Check his offseason workout with other NBAers.
