Air Jordan’s as a brand started as a strictly basketball performance sneaker but has graduated into something much bigger than that. Now widely seen worn casually, its easy to forget that the sneakers are actually functional for something besides going out. Though the original Air Jordan II was not the best of the line in ways of performance, it was still steps ahead of many of the basketball sneaker options available at the time.
This pair is wrapped in a Cool Grey-esque color which is seen throughout the shoe’s upper. Black is used on the midsole, piping, and laces. One thing we have not seen on a pair of Jordan IIs (2.0 or not) is cement print which is seen on the toe of this pair. To top this shoe off, gold accents are used on the Jordan wings logo and Air Max columns.
Unlike the ‘Chicago’ pair we showed you, this is a GS release meaning that it will only be available in youth sizes from 4y to 7y.
