Kobe Bryant Thinks Stephen Curry Is NBA’s Toughest Cover

Kobe Bryant Thinks Stephen Curry is hard to guard

Kobe Bryant thinks Stephen Curry is hard to guard. Kobe therefore is, apparently, a master at stating the obvious.

Presumably asked about who was the toughest player to guard in the NBA, Kobe came back with a totally predictable, wholly accurate answer, per Baxter Holmes of ESPN.com:

Stephen Curry is the only answer here. There are a ton of people who are ridiculously hard to guard, ranging from Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, to LeBron James and Damian Lillard, to Anthony Davis and Chris Paul. But Curry is a special breed of amazing. The dude’s shot selection couldn’t even be duplicated in a video game.

To wit: Curry is shooting a higher percentage from 25 feet or more away from the basket than LeBron James is shooting inside the paint. LeBron. Freaking. James.

Add in circus handles that Curry breaks out on the regular, and there is nothing else Kobe Bryant could’ve said.

Curry isn’t just the toughest cover in the NBA today; he’s one of the most difficult people to guard ever, period.
