Rumor has it that DeMarcus Cousins has “matured.” But that doesn’t at all appear to the case. At some point, we just have to realize that people are who they are that’s just how it’s going to be.
As such, Cousins mixed it up with Al Horford last night in Atlanta. Actually, he mixed it up with himself and inexplicably threw an elbow in the direction of Horford’s face.

You can’t really tell what prompted it, but it certainly doesn’t seem like much. DeMarcus Cousins suspended for a game by the league. Really?
Sacramento Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended one game without pay for hitting Atlanta Hawks forward Al Horford in the head with a forearm, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 2:00 remaining in the first quarter of the Hawks’ 103-97 win over the Kings on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at Philips Arena.
Cousins will serve his suspension tonight when the Kings face the Miami Heat at 7:30 p.m. ET at AmericanAirlines Arena.
