It seems like it has become an annual tradition over the past few years when ESPN releases their NBA Player rankings. The ranking of Kobe Bryant is always a topic of much debate. This year Bryant has slid to a new low being ranked by ESPN as 93rd best player in the league. 93rd.
Lakers fans are losing their minds as they can’t separate Bryant’s career history and legacy from his current proficiency and ranking. Conversely, Kobe detractors are happy to stomp on the career grave of Kobe ‘Black Mamba’ Bryant that struck fear into defenders everywhere. The player that is most certainly one of the top 10 greatest players in NBA history.
While we all should admit he’s no longer a Top 25 player at this point in his career, one has to wonder if the analysts at ESPN are simply looking for a headline by ranking Bryant at #93.

Kobe Bryant has more skill than any other player currently in the league. The rest is just physical. Espn is disrespectful

Laker fans will still complain in 2095 when Kobe's ashes are ranked #935 in #NBARank.

Kobe's reaction to being ranked 93rd by ESPN should simply be this. https://t.co/zs1Qq6MwnQ

I'm really tired of Kobe being disrespected. No way there's 92 players better than him. #NBArank
