Bulls point guard Derrick Rose underwent surgery Friday on the torn medial meniscus in his right knee. His estimated return to the team was pegged at four to six weeks.
Bulls general manager Gar Forman told reporters that the procedure, a meniscectomy, was successful and that Rose was able to walk out of the hospital. A six-week rehab for Rose would put his return close to the end of the NBA regular season.
