Largely because of his crazy athleticism, Andrew Wiggins was taken first overall. I say largely because it’s clear he’s not the most NBA-ready player in this year’s draft. Jabari Parker seems much further along.
Apparently, the rest of the NBA’s rookie class agrees. The rooks got together recently for a photo shoot and they were asked who they thought would win Rookie of the Year. Overwhelmingly, Parker came out on top.
Who will be the 2014-15 Rookie of the Year?
1. Jabari Parker, Milwaukee — 52.8 percent
T-2: Doug McDermott, Chicago — 8.3 percent
Andrew Wiggins, Cleveland — 8.3 percent
T-4: Shabazz Napier, Miami — 5.6 percent
Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia — 5.6 percent
Elfrid Payton, Orlando — 5.6 percent
