Pacers Part Ways With Andrew Bynum

bynum96Given Roy Hibbert’s recent struggles, having a guy like Andrew Bynum on reserve would certainly come in handy for the Pacers. But unfortunately, there’s more than 14-feet of no productivity on their roster between the two centers

Because of his lingering knee issues, the Pacers have announced that Bynum is no longer with the team. If Hibbert isn’t able to turn it around next year, who knows what they’re going to do.

Andrew Bynum will miss the remainder of the season and no longer be with the Indiana Pacers, the team announced Wednesday morning before Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals matchup against the Washington Wizards.

Bynum, who was signed on Feb. 1, only played in two games with Indiana and averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds. After his March 15 game, Bynum went on the inactive because of knee soreness.
