After last year’s breakout season, Houston Rockets’ guard James Harden has become one of the most trending players to search for on the web.
Perhaps it’s the signature full length beard he regularly sports or quite simply, his stature as one of the 3 most potent shooting guards in the league right now, rivaling Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade.
Now that Houston has landed prized free agent Dwight Howard to shore up the middle, Harden and the Rockets will be one of the Association’s most exciting to watch teams next year, and that’s without even mentioning PG Jeremy Lin, aka Mr Linsanity, rising forward Chandler Parsons, and a bevy of talented, young role players.
We’ve seen Harden out-and-about seemingly everywhere this Summer, from playing in L.A.’s famous Drew League, starring in the newest Nike commercials, and even on those monstrous, yet totally cool, larger-than-life billboards around Houston.
But one local Houston Mazda dealer has taken the Harden hype to a new level, using the Rockets star in their newest TV spot, well sort of…
The rather charming little person certainly looks like James Harden, with his #13 jersey on and the signature beard, while doing the 3 goggles from the backseat of the new Mazda CX-9, but I think he is a little too vertically challenged to make it in the NBA:
