While interesting (partially for the reason mentioned above), this trade is much ado about nothing in my opinion.
It is two teams swapping two guys who were highly unpopular in their respective locker rooms on expiring contracts.
It gives the Clippers a small (very small) amount of insurance at the center position this season should they trade DeAndre Jordan and saves the Wizards a couple million off their likely luxury tax.
Neither figures to have a huge role in their new homes this season if I was to venture a guess.
