John Wall is one of the three best all-around point guards in the NBA with his ability to score, direct an offense and defend his position, losing him for any extended period of time could be devastating for the Washington Wizards.
Luckily, they won’t have to worry about that for now.
Wall left Friday night’s game against the Cavaliers with an apparent shoulder injury after colliding with Channing Frye. The team feared there could be some serious damage to his shoulder, thankfully that is not the case.
Sources: After tests on injured shoulder, Wizards star John Wall has no structural damage, just soreness. Listed as questionable vs. Raptors.

Wall sat out of the Wizards 107-96 win in Toronto on Sunday and could potentially miss a few more games this week with shoulder soreness, but with no structural damage he will not miss any extended time or seemingly have any long-term issues with his shoulder which is a blessing for a Wizards team that needs him severely in order to compete in a wide-open eastern conference.
Wall will be zooming up and down the court and putting up 20 and 10 on a nightly basis once again before we know it.
His next chance to play is Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks at home.
