The MRI results came in and they weren’t good for 35-year-old Bulls star guard Dwyane Wade, he will miss the remainder of the season to recover from a broken elbow

Wade’s homecoming hasn’t exactly been anything special as the Bulls are currently 10th in the east at 32-36.
Wade has the ability to opt out of the final year and $23.8 million of his two-year deal with the Chicago Bulls that he signed this summer, so there is a chance that he has already played his final game in a Chicago Bulls uniform.
While not the superstar he has been in the past, he still averaged 18-4-4 for the Bulls and played a huge role alongside Jimmy Butler. The Bulls playoff chances and desire may have just taken a big hit.
The Bulls need to determine a direction this summer and if that includes Jimmy Butler for the long term, then Wade needs to decide if the $23.8 million for one more year is worth playing for a middling team or if he is willing to take a lesser role and lesser pay to compete for titles once again as he enters the back half of his 30s.
Look for Denzel Valentine to have a much bigger role the rest of the season.
