It has been a rough season for Jeremy Lin. For those who were hoping to see the return of Lin-sanity this season, just in a different borough in Brooklyn, after he signed to be the starting point guard and one of the go-to players for a talent starved Brooklyn Nets, sadly we have all been let down as a nagging hamstring injury has caused Lin to miss a majority of his games this season.
Lin has only played in 12 of the Nets 43 games thus far this season and now apparently will be on the shelf for three to five more weeks after re-aggravating the injury.
Sean Marks: "Jeremy re-aggravated his strained left hamstring and will be out approximately three to five weeks." #Nets @jlin7

Nets GM Sean Marks shared the unfortunate news Monday morning, in what has been yet another disappointment in a long season for a Nets team that won’t even have a high draft pick to show for their league worst 9-34 current record.
Lin has averaged 14-6-3 and a steal on 47% shooting for the Nets in 2016-17. We will see if he is able to return and have an impact after the all-star break.
In the meantime, that means more minutes and opportunity for young players such as Sean Kilpatrick and Caris LeVert.
