Despite the Wizards struggles and general lack of chemistry this season, one bright spot has been the emergence of Otto Porter Jr.
Porter has improved his efficiency and production as much as any other player in the NBA. From last season to this season he has increased his scoring by 3//1 points per game, 2.9 rebounds, 0.6 steals and his shooting percentages has improved from 47% from the field to 53% from the field and 36% from three-point range to 41%.
He has become a top 10 small forward in the NBA and a two-way player that brings plenty of energy, defensive ability, rebounding and catch-and-shoot ability from the wing. That, combined with only being 23 years of old, equates to big time money in the current NBA market.
His PER is 19.8 (higher than Gordon Hayward, Harrison Barnes and Nic Batum) He is top 20 in the NBA in plus/minus and incredibly he is fourth in the NBA in points per possession, feel free to read that again.
Steam is picking up for Porter receiving a max offer during the restricted free agency this summer.

If this level of play continues, expect Otto Porter to be a $100 million man come the summer, and with the pricey deals in place for Bradley Beal and John Wall, it is a very real possibility he could be donning a new uniform in the 2017-18 season as well.
