All of a sudden, retired NBA players are “considering a comeback.” Unfortunately for most of them, NBA teams aren’t considering their comeback.
Most notably, Ray Allen (who teams would want), Stephen Jackson and Jermaine have expressed interest in returning to the league. The next one up is Richard Hamilton. Let’s just hope he’s not interested in going to Golden State, too.
It’s interesting when guys leave the league because they couldn’t find a job, then decide a few years later that they want to return. Older. Good luck, Rip.
“I’m giving myself 30 days where I am really hitting the gym,” Hamilton told Anatha Pandian. “I’m working on my game. I’m in the weight room. I’m running my two, three miles a day. And I’m trying to see if my body can hold up. If my body can hold up after these 30 days, I will be making a comeback.”
