It has somewhat been made known that the TNT crew would welcome Kobe Bryant to the team with open arms following his retirement. In what capacity remains unknown, but to have him on the team would draw even more eyes to TNT’s coverage.
Apparently, a formal offer has been made to Kobe but he has zero interest. That’s not much of a surprise, as he doesn’t really seem to have the personality to do television for a living.

When it comes to the “ Inside the NBA ” job offer, Kobe Bryant just did something pretty uncommon for him — he passed.
The honchos at the show had reached out to Mamba, hoping he’d join Charles Barkley, Shaq and the rest of the gang either this season or next.
There’s still some good news for Shaq though — Bryant says he’s pumped about training Diesel’s son, Shareef O’Neal, over the summer.
