The Pistons’ summer break has officially started as result of a 4-0 series sweep at the hands of the Cavs. But credit Detroit. In a few of those games, they played Cleveland very tough and gave them all they could handle.
That was the case in game 4, as Cleveland barely won by 2. At actually seemed as if Kyrie Irving (as spectacular as he was last night) tried to hand Detroit the game down the stretch. Cleveland was up 2, with the ball, and 10 seconds left, when Kyrie inexplicable shot a contested 3, which he missed. Reggie Jackson corralled the ball, headed back down court and attempted a 3 of his own that missed the mark. Ball game.
But, of course, Reggie Jackson thought he was fouled and feels refs should be fined for missing calls like that. (For what it’s worth, today, the NBA said he wasn’t fouled, after reviewing the play.)
