Jimmy Butler left Friday’s game vs. the Nuggets after an apparent knee injury. It didn’t look good, as he needed help exiting the court. Today, the Bulls received terrible news in that they will need to be without him for about a month.
Butler is also an all-star reserve and his teammate, Pau Gasol, will replace him on the roster for the game in Toronto this weekend.
Chicago Bulls All-Star swingman Jimmy Butler will miss an additional 3-4 weeks with a left knee sprain, the team announced on Tuesday, meaning he will not play in the All-Star Game in Toronto on Sunday.
Butler will sit out the All-Star Game after being voted to the team for the second straight season. The league announced that teammate Pau Gasol will take Butler’s place at All-Star Weekend.
