Dirk Nowitzki has had an incredible career, a league MVP, Finals MVP and NBA champion, Dirk has been the heart and soul of the Dallas Mavericks for the past 16 years and become the standard bearer to which all foreign skilled big men are measured against.
He reached another career milestone Sunday in the Mavericks 129-103 win over the 76ers, reaching the 29,000 points scored in his career.

Dirk reached the plateau in the third quarter on a classic Dirk play as he pump faked to get a charging 76ers defender off balance and then drained a three pointer from the top of the key.

Dirk is one of the 20 best players in NBA history and we will never see a plodding, herky-jerky 7’1″ German with beautiful dirty blonde locks hitting one-legged step back jumpers and giving everybody buckets like him ever again.
