Ty Lawson was the recipient of two separate DUI charges in 2015, which ultimately led to Denver finally cutting ties with him. Now he’s Houston’s problem to deal with.
Earlier in the season, the league finally came down on Lawson with a 2-game suspension for the January 2015 DUI. Today, he learned that he has been suspended 3 games for the June 2015 infraction.
Now that these are behind him, hopefully we can continue to have a different discussion about Lawson.
Houston Rockets’ guard Ty Lawson has been suspended for three games without pay for driving under the influence of alcohol, in violation of the law of the State of California, the NBA announced today.
Lawson’s suspension will begin with tonight’s game between the Houston Rockets and the Utah Jazz.
