The Pelicans have turned down an offer of Rudy Gay in exchange for stretch four, Ryan Anderson.
Sources: The Sacramento Kings made Rudy Gay available and offered him to the New Orleans Pelicans for Ryan Anderson. https://t.co/nPRsXuNZE7

Anderson is currently making $8 million but is in the final year of his contract and expected to cash in big time this summer with the oodles of money just waiting to be spent while Rudy Gay is in the first year of a three-year, $40 million contract extension with the Kings.
According to Scotto, Gay is firmly on the trade block and available to potential suitors.
Who could potentially enter their hat in the ring for Gay? The Clippers seem like the team who would most desire or need Gay’s services but don’t have much of a package to offer besides Stephenson with one year left on his deal, Jamal Crawford’s expiring and a pick.
It will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds in the next month.
