Agents, coaches, teammates, social media, etc. likely all play a role in how the news is delivered. And though there have been some unconventional All-Star epiphanies in the past, there has never been one better than that of Draymond Green.
He didn’t find out about his first-ever All-Star selection from his agent.
Or one of his coaches.
Or one of his teammates.
Social media didn’t alert him to the honor, either.
Draymond Green found out he was an all-star from his mom.
And she did it on television.
