Which brings us to C.J. McCollum, who recently liked an article on Twitter from Oregonian columnist John Canzano that argues the Portland Trail Blazers should explore trades for the soon-to-be restricted free agent.

And for what it’s worth, there’s no way Portland’s general manager, Neil Olshey, entertains offers for McCollum. It wouldn’t make sense. Not only does he figure to be a key part of the Blazers’ rebuild, he is earning just over $2.5 million this season, limiting the list of players for which he can moved.
