With their win over the Nuggets on Sunday night, the Warriors tied an NBA record with 15 consecutive wins to start a season. And by the looks of things, there’s no sign of that coming to an end anytime soon. Aside from being offensively prolific, the Warriors don’t ever seem to deal with health issues. For the most part, their key guys are always out there. They play a finesse game, so that helps. But LeBron James has also noticed this.
I think it comes with a lot of health,” James said when asked about the Warriors tying the all-time mark for best start to a season at 15-0. “They’ve been healthy. They’ve been the most healthy team I’ve ever seen in NBA history, and they have great talent. Those guys all play for one common goal and that’s to win and that’s all that matters.”
Make no mistake: that can be taken as a slight by LeBron James, because most believe that the Cavs would’ve won the Finals if they didn’t lose their #2 and #3 scorers in the playoffs.
